Breakfast can be had in the treehouse or in the dining room, either way fantastic views. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly especially the Manager. Breakfast was tasty. Good chef.

We stayed for 4 days from Nov 8-11, 2023. Facilities were absolutely great. Staff was very helpful. I booked Deluxe room. It was comfy and elegant. Heater is available round the clock. Warm water is also available all the time. I would recommend this place if you want to have a comfortable and hassle free stay. Room : 10/10 Washrooms: 10/10 Warm Water available. Clean washrooms. All basic necessities were available. Wifi : Yes (Good Bandwidth) Breakfast: Yes (Complimentary. It was good. ) Lunch/Dinner: Didn't try. We mainly wanted to try the local shops nearby. Staff: Excellent. A person was always available at reception. Super helpful and polite people. Transport: We requested the Hotel to arrange a car for 3 days. We didn't had to worry about transport. They driver kept connected on the phone, picked us from the airport and guided us for each days travel in a very professional manner.

This small resort with absolutely perfect! Views were stunning and the little bungalows were modern and clean. They had a great little heater that kept us warm and a lovely hot shower! The staff were wonderful and so kind and helpful. The breakfast was yummy and they made delicious Pakistani chai tea! They DID have strong WiFi too which was great for keeping us online. We hope to visit again one day!

    It was a great place to visit, so may lakes and waterfalls, plains and historical architectures; however summer can make your stay difficult. Choose the right weather and hotel. Better to arrange a 4x4 vehicle if possible. Over all Skardu is a place for adventure and hiking lovers !

    Skardu and other surrounding areas of Baltistan can be great highlights of tourism with more effort on marketing and tourist-centric developments. Nature offers many eye-treats here; be it the vast lands of DEOSAI, hidden valley of BASHO or the mesmerizing waterfalls of KHAMSHI. But reaching these places is not as a comfortable to the body - the roads, though mostly paved and carpeted, still needs developed to offer bump-free rides.

    I stayed 3 nights in Shangrila before coming here.

    I stayed 3 nights in Shangrila before coming here. Shangrila is too good as far as resort itself concerned but their food as alwsys is barely average and staff tooooo slow. Check in took 50 minutes whereas I was the only one at desk. You call some 1 to make room they take 3-4 hours. The room service of food is however prompt. Being a pilot by profession an avid traveller around the world I rate Skardu to be in Top 10 tourist destinations of world with Black Forest Germany and Swiis Alps.Must see at least once in life and if you go in PIA AIR SAFARI FLIGHT it will be a bonus as they would show you K-2 , Manga Parbat, Broad Peak, Baltoro Glacier etc. Fresh Cherries are abundant and so is Trout Fish. I TRIED TO UPLOAD IMAGES BUT SOME SOFT WARE HICK UP OCCURRED DESPITE SEVERAL ATTEMPTS.
